Hæ hó jibbí jei!
The parade, led by the Klakkur Scout Group and the Akureyri Brass Band, departs from the Old Home Economics School on Þórunnarstræti at 12:30 and marches south to the Botanical Garden, where the official celebrations will take place. Let’s all join the parade!
The flower-decorated truck sets off from Naustaskóli at 11:00, driving through residential neighborhoods, down Art Street (Listagil), along Strandgata, and more—festive June 17th songs will play from the truck’s speakers.
